He's at it again this January. Our web designer, Matt Wilkinson, is playing the role of Billy, the King's cowardly man-servant, in the musical panto Jack and the Beanstalk - a tale of magic, danger and triumph.

The evil Giant is causing havoc!  He’s eating all the livestock and demanding extortionate rent via his henchman Blood and Thunder. Jack Trott, son of Dame Trott the local dairy farmer,  tells all he will kill the Giant if only he can reach his castle!  To pay the Giant's rent Jack is sent off to sell Connie, the Dairy’s cow, and is persuaded to swap her for a bag of magic beans by a magic Fairy.  Dame Trott is furious and throws the beans out of the window – They grow to form a Magic Beanstalk leading to the Giant’s castle!  Jack climbs to save the day - can he do it?

"I  play the character of Billy, the King’s man-servant, who is a bit thick to say the least. So its not going to be a stretch for me to act out (before anyone else says it!).

"Please come and watch this panto and if you have children or grandchildren then bring them along to watch this very well produced Musical Panto, a great show for both children and adults. Lots of great jokes, innuendo and songs, it really is a magical show for young children to enjoy and also for their accompanying adults. We've been rehearsing hard since September. The show is being performed 6 times over one week in January, in a cosy theatre hall. "
